Gazprom can cancel over 50% of its pipeline construction projects and save $50-70 billion of investment costs. The reduction will not affect future gas sales. The new 2324-km route from Bovanenkovo to Ukhta and Torzhok can be replaced by a 530-km link from Bovanenkovo to Yamburg. Presentation gives a list of all pipeline projects of Gazprom.

Газпром может вдвое сократить программу строительства газопроводов без ущерба для объема продаж газа. Вместо газопровода Бованенково-Ухта достаточно проложить короткую перемычку Бованенково-Ухта. В целом, Газпром может сэкономить 50-70 млрд. долларов. Приводится таблица всех газопроводных проектов.

Presentation shows that the new export projects of Gazprom - Nord Stream and South Stream - are not needed. South Stream and Nord Stream-2 were conceived as bypass projects without increasing export volumes of Russian gas. The transit cost of gas via Ukraine and Belarus is lower than the transmission cost of Nord Stream and South Stream.

Презентация показывает, что газопроводные проекты Nord Stream и South Stream являются излишними. Эти проекты предназначены не для увеличения экспорта газа, а для перенаправления экспортных потоков в обход Украины, Белоруссии и других транзитных стран. Затраты на транспортировку газа по новым экспортным маршрутам превышают затраты на транзит через Украину, Белоруссию и Польшу.
