The average gas production cost in 2012 is reported at RUR 1085/mcm (USD 34.92). It is 56% above the average cost of 2011. The raise of severance tax from RUR 237 to RUR 509 per mcm has provided 70% of the cost growth. In US dollars, the cost is up 47%.
