Today Gazprom's delegation visited Bucharest. Alexey Miller and
Romania's prime minister Emil Boc discussed a new route of the South
Stream pipeline that would run through Romanian territory bypassing
Bulgaria.
There is one peculiar
point. The main portion of the route in the Black Sea runs through
the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of Turkey. However, there is no
common border between EEZs of Turkey and Romania.
Once again, South Stream project needs
Ukraine's permission.
