The average gas
production cost in Q3-2013 is reported at RUR 1340/mcm ($40.86/mcm
or $1.3/MMBtu). This is 23% above
the average cost of 2012. The raise of severance tax
from RUR 509 to RUR 622 per mcm is responsible for about a half of the
cost growth.
The average price of gas exported out
of the former Soviet Union in January-September 2013 is reported at
$382.5/mcm or $11.9/MMBtu (in
Gazprom reporting standard).
